The Sexy, Bold, Confident and Beautiful...
I must've been sixteen or seventeen years old when I purchased my very first lace matching underwear. It wasn't to seduce or look sexy for someone, but the pair was simply for me. Decades have passed since I first smiled at how those looked on me... There is something powerful about being able to look at ourselves in the mirror with just enough cloth or lace and be able to smile with confidence.
While I embrace all body types, my personal preference is lean for me. I have a small body frame, which is not forgivable with weight gain other than muscles. I gained more than 15 pounds during the first six months of the pandemic and lost more than 20 pounds in a matter of three weeks about a few months ago. With my lifestyle somewhat returning to pre-pandemic other than working from home and limited travels, I have been able to keep the weight off without trying.

I'm sure I'll get some hates, but how we look matters. Let me rephrase, how we feel when we look at ourselves in the mirror matters. While I still don't love my body, I gained confidence when I saw it donned in a Calvin Klein bralette and matching boy-short panties without a muffin top this morning. Positive body image doesn't mean we all have to love our bodies. It just means that we should be inclusive and embrace all body types without bias. It is perfectly okay to not like our bodies as long as we don't do anything to harm it, just as it is perfectly okay to embrace whatever body type you have as long as your health isn't harmed. What we don't like about ourselves... It is a springboard to work towards a healthier life and lifestyle.
So, let your body get sexy, bold, confident and beautiful with just enough cloth or lace, not for anyone, but for yourself.
